When the chips were kept on the night of Day 1C, the longest so far of the early days of Main Event World Series of Poker 2010, Mathieu Sauriol leading the table with 169 000. Behind him, very close, is former world champion Johnny Chan, who finished with 163 700, ahead of most of the 1,600 players who spent the day. full tilt rakeback
Chan, who had remained dormant for much of the WSOP 2010, doubled when “rivereó” a color-Diamonds (k)) (8-Diamonds for the trio of sevens beat his opponent and climb to 165,000. Chan will start on Day 2 as one of the leaders and will continue to grow uncontrollably in the race for his legend. read more
The Team PokerStars Pro Lex Veldhuis almost left out the beginning of the day, but managed to recover when “flopeó” full house with (4 -) (4 -) in a flop with (4-Clubs) (6-Hearts) (6 – Spades) when his opponent had (6) (7-Diamonds-Diamonds). This led Veldhuis stack to 40,000, and before night had already climbed to end the 91 925 mark.
Other well-positioned to continue in competition are Lauren King, Barney Boatman, Michael Reed and Robert Mizrachi. Also the defending champion Joe Every, Daniel Negreanu, Patrick Antonious, David Phillips and Dennis Oppenheim; although the latter do not have many chips so they have a tough task.
The unlucky ones will have no WSOP include Chad Brown, Alex Gomes, Tom Dwan, Neil Channing, Chau Giang, Jeff Madsen, and former world champion Jerry Yang and Huck Seed. full tilt rakeback
Phil Hellmuth arrived at the River immersed in a show, as usual. On this occasion, was dressed as a mixed martial artist (MMA), with a group of dancers around him and the officer of the MMA reporter Bruce Buffer announcing his arrival. Unfortunately, the day ended with a KO for Hellmuth, and 11-time champion had to start from this series without a bracelet search for poker in google.
